Meet Dr. James
Joshua C. James, MD, is a board-certified ENT specialist who leads his practice in McKinney and Frisco, Texas, by offering state-of-the-art otolaryngology care. Dr. James is a native of Plano, Texas, and enjoys serving those within his community.
Dr. James attended Plano East Senior High School and went on to earn his undergraduate degree in microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with honors. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he remained for his otolaryngology residency training. He is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology.
During residency, Dr. James completed and published multiple research studies in the field of voice and laryngology. He was recognized at the annual Otolaryngology Conference for his efforts in the advancement of laryngeal surgery. He still holds a particular interest in voice disorders and treatment.
Dr. James spends much of his free time serving on the board and volunteering at the Collin County Children's and Family Health Clinic. He is also the Vice President for the Collin-Fannin Medical Society. Currently, he serves as a volunteer medical director for Project Access, a healthcare venue for low-income families with medical needs. Dr. James has a passion for ensuring that quality healthcare is available to all people and routinely advocates as a delegate in the Texas Medical Association's governing body.
